Smackdown Opener; Ben Geraci vs James Robertson

The show opens hot at the very beginning with Ben Geraci in singles competition. Throughout the match commentary builds up this new swagger about Ben Geraci as he plays up to the crowd, moving slowly like a methodical mob boss from Philly. Commentary speculates how Geraci has technically not answered T-Dog's challenge yet for Wrestlemania Backlash, but if this new turn of events and new swagger is any indication, T-Dog might not have as easy of a win as he is expecting at Backlash! Geraci absolutely mauls his opponent, never giving Robertson a real chance to get any sort of offense in. Geraci slaps at Robertson's head with a smug smirk and taunts at him to get back up and that, "he's nothin' he's nothin". Geraci finally ends the match with setting up Robertson on the middle rope and crashing down to the mat with his vicious Geraci's Edge! Geraci covers Robertson for the easy pinfall, 1...2....3! Geraci wins and immediately starts strutting around the ring posing for the cheering crowd who look to be all in on Geraci now!

Shortly after the bell rings, WWEP Correspondent Jackson Murphy jogs down to the ring and gets into the ring with a microphone in his hand ready to catch a word. Murphy congratulates Geraci on his victory and then comes right out to ask him if he will be accepting T-Dog's challenge for Wrestlemania Backlash. Geraci smiles at Jackson and slowly places his gold chain back around his neck and several rings back on his fingers.

"Shhh shhh shhh. Just re-lax Jackson. Re-lax." - Ben Geraci

Geraci leans over the microphone and stares directly into the camera.

"Yo T-Dog, what's wrong...with this picture? I says it many many times. It's no secret that every wrestler...wants to be...ON TOP of the W W E P. And it's no secret mayne...that any...thing...goes. But I'm not here to fight it mayne. I'm not here to goooo againstttt the mold. Ben Geraci...and all La Geraci Familia here in Cleveland Ohio toniiightttt...will do...whatever it takes mayne. To whoever....whenever...and where ever...." - Ben Geraci

The crowd starts cheering louder as Geraci breaks up his promo and smiles to the crowd, readjusting his rings on his fingers and making them tighter. Geraci pets his hair back with his hand and then leans down again to continue.

"So boss, you think you're real cute calling out Ben Geraciiii? I sees you're not out here doing it now. Cause you know mayne. You know. Heh your troubles haven't even begun to get started mayne. Did you see what I just did to this jaybrone in the ring just now? Hes nothinnnn. I'm thru with hiiiimmm. He can't even standddd mayneeeee. Bada bing bada boom he out! He out! Nothin left! And T-Dog you need to take your lesson, jaybrone. Study up the facts. Take the notes of what you just watched. You may think nobody could out wrestle you chico, heh, but Is aint here to wrestle." - Ben Geraci

Geraci pauses and starts rubbing his hands together like he is getting ready for a fight.

"You want a war? This aint bout wrestlinnnnn. You come in my town. You come in my house.....you'll be swimmin' with the fishes. You know what I'm sayin?? Heh heh. You eva heard of a Columbian Neck Tie? Heh look it up chico. Look it up." - Ben Geraci

"So T-Dog you may have brought me in to this com-pany, but I'm taking... .YOU...OUT. Thassss right. Don't worry bout bringin yourrr knee pads or yourrrr wrestling boots. Cuz Backlash mayne....heh, Go ahead tell your family to skip out on watching that one. Cause it's gonna be a massa-kerrrr." - Ben Geraci

Geraci pushes the microphone out of his way and slowly struts out of the ring playing up to the crowd and making his way up the ramp.

#1 Contender's Match for the WWEP King of the Mountain Champiionship; Robbie Casey vs TJ Ivers

Before the match begins, the WWEP King of the Mountain Champion Ryan Lucas comes out to a huge pop from the crowd. Lucas makes his way down to the ring with his same goofy stoner like smile, playing up to the crowd and drinking several beers with them. Lucas however doesn't get into the ring, but instead heads over to the commentary table and sits down at the three men table, putting a headset of his own on, and contributing his own commentary! Lucas right from the get go spews out his "Spicoli like" attitude and says how he wanted to be out here to get a first hand look at who he would be facing at Backlash for his King of the Mountain Championship.

Once Robbie Casey and TJ Ivers make it to the ring, even though they are sealed on each other looking as if they are going to rip into each other at any moment, they also chirp back and forth at Lucas outside the ring as well. Lucas laughs and taunts at them to "come get it started", even getting on top of the commentary booth and posing with his King of the Mountain Championship belt strapped around his waist, rallying up the crowd behind him.

Robbie and TJ stand face to face in the middle of the ring as a huge “OC BRO” chant breaks out in the crowd, only getting Ryan Lucas even more fired up, adding into it more and more. Robbie slowly walks over to TJ and taunts right in TJ's face, and TJ goes right on the attack punching away! The bell sounds and the two start wailing unprotected shot after unprotected shot on each other! Robbie punches back and they end up in a lock-up. Waist lock by Robbie is countered into one for TJ. Robbie flips TJ over, but TJ turns it into a head scissors. Robbie counters into a bridge for a pin, 1…2…TJ breaks out! And we get to an even stance as both get to their feet!

Robbie feels the need to taunt at him again, and TJ once again takes full advantage and attacks Robbie with a big boot to the face of Casey! TJ picks Casey back up but Robbie counters with an irish whip into the corner, but TJ stops himself and floats over Robbie. Casey jumps to the top rope and backflips off as TJ runs in. TJ slides under Robbie's kick attempt, then leaps over a sweep. Clothesline misses from TJ and he goes off the ropes. Casey tries a split, and TJ stops to legdrop Casey, only for Casey to move out of the way! TJ ducks another kick from the bionec redneck and trips him up. TJ misses the elbow, Casey misses the somersault legdrop and both end up in a fighting stance once again as the crowd roars and commentary pops with excitement that these two are putting on an absolute clinic in the ring!

"I think every time I see what this rookie Robbie Casey can do and TJ Ivers can do, I am in absolute amazement! Wow!" - Mike Tenay

"Yeah both of these men deserve to be #1 contender and will stop at nothing to become it!" - Coty Coleman

"Bro ha ha ha ha both these dudes are a bunch of chodessss! Bring the deathmatch dude, bring the flippy dude, bring the whole god damn calvary...all I need is some righteous bud and allllll myyyy dudesss and I am fiiiiiineeeee! Ha ha!" - Ryan Lucas

They tie up again and this time TJ sends Casey off the ropes. TJ ducks the spin kick from Casey but not the ensuing spinning heel kick!

"Wow! He wasn't expecting that shot, was he?!" - Mike Tenay

"Rookie move brooooo rookie move ha ha" - Ryan Lucas

Casey pounds his chest and celebrates to the crowd again, and for the third time Ivers takes advantage, dropkicking Casey into the corner! Casey ends up retreating to the apron, and TJ follows up with a springboard dropkick that sends Casey crashing into the railing!

"That'll even up things, won't it boys?!" - Ben Davis

Slingshot somersault plancha by TJ not caring at all to put his own body on the line! TJ does a little showboating now, pacing around Robbie with a psychotic look on his face and wide eyes. Casey counters a whip and sends TJ into the railing back first! Casey crotches TJ on the railing, and then hits a running jump kick off the other side of the railing, the commentary table, and then on the railing holding TJ, sending TJ into the crowd! Casey gets a full head of steam and flies over the railing into TJ and the crowd! The crowd is at fever pitch cheering for the damage that Casey is inflicting on the Steele. Robbie dumps TJ back over the railing. He goes for a moonsault off the railing but TJ bails back into the ring and Casey crashes onto the floor!

"Nobody's home for Robbie Casey!" - Ben Davis

"Like him or not, this is what comes out when you get into a fight with TJ Ivers. Not only is he smart, resourceful, and devious...but he knows exactly what to do and what not to do! And in that sick head of his...he knows how to get the upper hand over his opponent at all costs!" - Coty Coleman

Casey slowly makes his way back into the ring to break up a ring out count by the referee, and TJ quickly gets a front facelock and plants Robbie with a face first suplex! A cover, 1…2…Robbie kicks out. TJ sets Robbie up once again…Cradle Piledriver right in the center of the ring! Cover, 1…2…Robbie Casey kicks out again to the frustration of TJ!

TJ in a fit of frustration and rage rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. TJ is about to blast Robbie in the face, but right as TJ is swinging around with the steel chair, Robbie leaps up and kicks the steel chair right back into the face of TJ Ivers!!

"Come on ref! Where's the disqualification in that?! Do your damn job!" - Ben Davis

"Well the referee is saying that Robbie didn't bring the chair into the ring, it's all fair game!" - Mike Tenay

"What a load of bull! Disqualify that man right now!" - Ben Davis

The referee doesn't call for the bell though, explaining to the timekeeper that this is not an offensive disqualification from Robbie Casey! Robbie does what anybody else would do and just covers TJ for the pinfall which the ref drops down to make the count, 1...2....but TJ even though he is completely dazed out is able to put his foot on the bottom rope at the count of two!

Robbie tries to pull TJ back into the center of the ring to cover him again, but TJ opportunistically is able to leverage himself out of the ring with the help of the bottom rope. The crowd boos at TJ protecting himself in what appears to be a sure fire victory for the rookie Robbie Casey. Casey grabs the referee's shirt and starts acting like he is going to attack the referee.

"Come on! Be a man! Just hit him! You know you want to do it! Don't be a little bitch!" - Ben Davis

"You just want him to get himself disqualified! We deserve a winner!" - Coty Coleman

"What?! No! The dumbass referee deserves it! He shouldn't even be in the match still!" - Ben Davis

"Check it outttt broooo. Hehehehe." - Ryan Lucas

Lucas is laughing at the commentary table making fun of TJ who is struggling to pick himself up to his feet. TJ leans on the commentary table and tries pulling himself up with the assitance of the commentary table.

"Look at this doooofus right here. Ha ha ha look at him dudeeee. Ha ha. Hey broooooo you lost? Ha ha ha dudeeee the gay bath houses are back that way, sorry bro we don't got nothin for ya here ha ha ha. Look at this chod..." - Ryan Lucas

TJ in a fit of rage and frustration of what is happening and Lucas making fun of him, grabs one of Ryan's beers on the commentary table, and throws it at Lucas! The beer spills all over the King of the Mountain Champion, stopping him dead in his tracks. Lucas looks down at his shirt which is covered in beer now and quickly changes gears to a more serious and disgruntled tone.

"Shut the fu** up!!" - TJ Ivers

TJ staggers back and forth for a couple seconds and then slaps Lucas in the face, knocking him back down into his seat!

"Sit your ass down and shut up or get the hell out of here!" - TJ Ivers

Lucas slowly gets back up to his feet and looks as if he is about to snap on TJ Ivers as TJ just keeps screaming at him, Lucas coming in with a completely different tone than he had up until now. But just before Lucas can actually attack TJ, a raging Robbie Casey hops down from the apron and charges at TJ with a clothesline. But just as he is about to make contact on TJ, TJ quickly slides out from underneath the clothesline causing Casey to wipe out Lucas over the commentary booth!!! Casey pays no mind to the inadvertent clothesline on Lucas and quickly turns around to start exchanging vicious blows with his opponent outside the ring. Lucas slowly gets back up to his feet once again holding his chin this time. Lucas can't contain himself now as he charges at BOTH Robbie Casey and TJ and starts wailing on the both of them! Lucas hits Casey with a stunner out of nowhere and then follows up with one on TJ as well getting a huge pop for the one on TJ outside the ring! The referee's eyes are as wide as silver dollars not knowing what to do. Lucas stares down at both men now laid completely out outside the ring and the referee goes back and forth with the time keeper on what he should do. Finally, the referee calls for the bell and the decision of a double disqualification! Lucas paces back and forth outside the ring just staring down at his damage for a few seconds before Jordan Graham comes storming out fuming from ear to ear and a microphone already in his hand.

"God damn it!! Stop stop stop! Lucas!!!" - Jordan Graham

Graham storms down the ramp and gets face to face with Lucas outside the ring.

"Are you done yet?!" - Jordan Graham

Lucas doesn't say a word and just stares intensely back into the eyes of Jordan Graham, clearly being in a different headspace than he was in when he originally came out for commentary.

"So you're tough guy huh? Big man big champion big dog in town?? Huh?! I'll tell you what I am sick and tired of! I am sick and tired of everyone in this whole damn company disrespecting the foundation and thinking they can just doooo WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT TO DO! I'm sick of it! It's gonna end, and it's gonna end TONIGHT! Right here! Right now! Lucas!!" - Jordan Graham

Jordan pauses and the two get nose to nose with each other looking like they want to rip each other's heads off.

"It's about time we get some order in this place and I'm going to lay down the law. So Lucas you think you're a hot shot a big tough guy who wants a fight? Well I'll give ya a fight. Since this match ended in a draw no disqualification, it's your lucky night Lucas. Because in two weeks at Backlash you're going to defend your King of the Mountain Championship against not one BUT BOTH TJ Ivers and Robbie Casey in a triple threat match!" - Jordan Graham

Lucas throws his arms up and starts nodding his head "yes"

"Fine! Let's go bro! Let's go! Send em both!" - Ryan Lucas

"Oh and Lucas I'm not stopping there! No no no! That title match is going to be contested inside a 15 foot solid steel cage where NONE of you can take the easy way out! First one to make his way out, wins the championship belt! And so Mister Ryan Lucas, bro as you say, you will learn real quick...you mess with me, you mess with you future, your career, your whole god damn life! Don't mess with what I've bui..." - Jordan Graham

Before Graham can finish his sentence though, Lucas shake shis head in disgust, having heard enough. Lucas proceeds to kick him in the gut and hit a stunner on him as well, knocking him completely out cold on the hard concrete outside the ring!!! The crowd pops with excitement and starts chanting "OC Bro" as Lucas bounces up and down taunting at Graham who lies flat black motionless on the ground. Lucas goes to storm back up the ramp when all of a sudden. Robbie Casey and TJ Ivers are back up to their feet swinging haymakers at the champion! The three of them brawl around the outside of the ring and through the crowd as several security guards rush down to try and break them up. But just as they are getting through the floor seats and bac up onto the stage, a loud boom sounds off throughout the arena and George Amuah-Niamkey's music blares over the PA! The crowd pops off with excitement that George looks to be making his return to Smackdown! Security is finally able to rush over to the three of them to break them up and pull them apart from one another, but now it looks like the kettle might be getting a little bit hotter with George now coming out! But George doesn't actually walk through the curtain. Instead the camera zooms in on him standing on top of the Smackdown set over top of the three of them being held apart.

"Eyyyyy bitches!!!!" - George Amuah-Niamkey

The three of them and the security team all look up to George standing over top of them on the set.

"Did someone say a rage in a cage????? Ha ha! You know, when I signed my return contract the day after Wrestlemania, it guaranteed me one non world title shot of my choosing....and if one mother fu**er is going to leave that steel cage with the King of the Mountain Championship STRAPPED around his waist, IT'S GONNA BE DA KING OF HOESSSS!!!!! HA HA!! YEEEEEEET YEEEEEET BITCHESSSSSS!!!!!" - George Amuah-Niamkey

George leaps off in dramatic fashion with a sucide dive right on top of all three men and the several security guards, wiping everyone out!!!

"OH MY GOD!!! HE JUST JUMPED FROM THAT SET!!! THAT'S GOTTA BE 25 FEET IN THE AIR!" - Mike Tenay

Cameras slowly fade to a commercial break as several other members of security rush out onto the stage to take George, Lucas, Robbie, and TJ away as commentary build up the huge fatal four way steel cage match at Backlash and shock and awe of what just happened out here with George!

Main Event; Loser Leaves Town WWEP Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship Match; Matt Charles (c) vs Chuck Nimmo w/David Judas

Before the match starts, Chuck Nimmo is accompanied by Matt's old protege David Judas. Nimmo makes his way slowly down to the ring with Matt's championship belt around his waist that he stole at the end of Monday Night RAW. Commentary builds up how if Matt Charles loses this match tonight not only will he lose his championship belt, but he will be ousted from WWEP forever. But if Nimmo loses, he will be ousted out of WWEP forever, so clearly Matt has the most lose to lose going into this match. Commentary hypes the feud that these two have been on ever since Chuck came into WWEP back in late 2019, and that David Judas was always by the Playboy's side. Matt comes out raring to go clearly not wanting to do anything but get his hands on Nimmo and end this once and for all.

As soon as the bell rings, Matt Charles comes barreling in like a mad man wiping out Nimmo with a clothesline that looks as if it could take out an entire city! Matt with the clear size advantage and the fresh legs quickly overpowers Nimmo in the early going, literally shoving Nimmo down to the mat! Chuck gets back up to his feet and charges in at Matt with a shoulder block that Matt basically absorbs. Matt picks Nimmo up for a vertical suplex, but just as he is about to come down hard on the deviant one, Nimmo is able to wiggle out of it, slide down Matt's back, and through the ropes to the outside of the ring much to the disapproval from the crowd. David Judas outside the ring goes to check on Nimmo as Matt fumes in the ring, screaming for Nimmo to get back into the ring. But instead of Nimmo getting back into the ring, David Judas hops up onto the apron and acts like he is going to get into the ring to attack the champion. But right before he can get into the ring, Matt charges at David and just starts wailing on him with everything in him! The crowd starts chanting for Matt as he rages on, but just as Matt's back is turned wailing on Judas, Nimmo finds this to to be the perfect opportunity to slide back into the ring and dive right down at Matt's knees shoulder first! BAM! Matt immediately falls back down to the canvas, clearly being outsmarted by the deviant opportunistic Chuck Nimmo.

"See what he's doing right here! This is brilliant, just brilliant! You stand toe to toe with a giant, you're going to get destroyed. But you take a giant down at his base, you can control him any which way you want! I love this!" - Ben Davis

Nimmo starts to take a slow advantage of the champion, just methodically trying to wear his knees down as much as he possibly can to keep the big man down. Nimmo tries several times for a quick cover, but the resilient champion will just not stay down. Matt starts to battle back, but each time that it looks like he is finally going to flip the momentum, David Judas will distract the referee long enough for Nimmo to use some dasterdly act to keep him down. This is clearly turning into a 2 on 1 handicap affair, rather than the 1 on 1 fight that Matt had wanted. The closest call comes when Nimmo is able to connect with his swanton bomb off the top rope, but just as it looks like he may be getting the 3 count, Matt somehow someway is able to kick out right in the knick of time at 2.75!! Nimmo starts to let his own emotions get the better of him, getting more and more aggressive towards the referee after each nearfall.

Nimmo goes to pick up Matt one more time, but this time the champion is ready for it! Matt reverses a DDT into a belly to belly suplex of his own, completely wiping out the lanky warrior! Matt starts feeding on the crowd rallying them up behind him, pounding his boots on the canvas and screaming for Nimmo to get back up for another one. But just as he connects with a second belly to belly suplex on a dazed and staggering Chuck, this time he throws him so hard across the ring that Nimmo's entire body comes crashing down on the referee! The referee is out!

"My god! Did you just see that?! Matt Charles literally threw him with full force ACROSS THE RING...AND THE REFEREE IS OUT!!" - Mike Tenay

"Now how in the hell is this going to help him at all?! The referee is out cold! You can't win like that, dumbass!" - Ben Davis

Matt tries to revive the referee, obviously seeing that he can't do much in regards to a pinfall or submission with the referee being knocked out cold. But as Matt's back is bent over trying to get the referee back up to his feet, David Judas comes charging into the ring with a steel chair in hand, shattering it over the back of the Undisputed Champion!

"CHAIR SHOT TO THE BACK OF THE CHAMPION!!!" - Mike Tenay

"WOO! That's what he gets! Hit him again Judas!" - Ben Davis

"Why don't you get in there and take that shot, Ben?!" - Coty Coleman

"No need, Matt is taking everything for me! Ha ha!" - Ben Davis

Matt struggles to get back up to his feet, but Judas is just relentless with the chair shots hitting him harder and harder over the back and ribs each time he swings. Nimmo slowly struggles up to his feet and looks at his protege with a sick and twisted smile on his face. Nimmo motions for Judas to lay the chair over top of Matt's head flat on the mat. Nimmo climbs up onto the top rope and taunts at the booing crowd.

"He isn't about to jump off and drive his foot into that steel chair is he?!" - Mike Tenay

"Ha ha yes he is! Right through Matt Charles' head! Watch this..watch this!" - Ben Davis

But just as Chuck is about to jump off the top rope, Matt low blows David Judas and gets back up onto his feet with the steel chair in his hand! Nimmo tries to get off the top rope to help Judas, but Matt comes charging in with the steel chair in hand and shatters it over the top of the head of Nimmo giving him a taste of his own medicine! Matt running completely on fumes now falls down to his knees, barely able to stand and still selling those vicious chair shots to his own back from David Judas earlier. Judas slowly makes it back up to his feet from that low blow, but this time Matt is right there to shatter the steel chair over his head as well, and with so much force that Judas goes flying through the middle rope and crashing to the outside of the ring!

"Charles is hulking up!!!" - Coty Coleman

Matt throws the steel chair out of the ring and pounds his chest riling up the riotous "pro Matt" crowd behind him! The crowd starts chanting "Play boy Play boy Play boy" as he taunts at Nimmo to get back up to his feet and the referee happens to be coming to his senses as well on the other side of the ring. Nimmo in a complete daze picks himself up staggers around the ring, but he staggers right into Matt Charles who wraps his arms tightly around the throat of Nimmo and locks on his savage PCB (Tazmission)!!!!!

"PCB PCB!! He's got the PCB locked in!!!" - Mike Tenay

Matt falls onto his back with his arms tightly around Nimmo's neck, pulling harder and harder and doing everything he can to choke the life out of Nimmo!!! Nimmo desperately reaches for a rope for a break, but Matt instinctively slides his entire body around to pull Nimmo even further away from the ropes and to safety! After only about 10 seconds, Nimmo can't take it anymore and is forced to tap out!!! The timekeeper starts frantically ringing the bell, but Matt refuses to let up his PCB, just looking into the distance with a wide and psychotic look in his eyes! Finally after the referee is physically trying to pull him off of Nimmo, he breaks the hold and limps around the ring selling the brutality of the match, but still standing tall for the cheering crowd. The crowd pops when he is announced as STILL THE WWEP UNDISPUTED WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! Matt snatches the belt out of the referee's hand and poses with the belt to his beloved fans in attendance. As Matt is continuing to celebrate his huge title defense, his #1 contender Austin Michael Pieper slowly walks out onto the stage with a smug smirk on his face, sarcastically clapping for the reigning and defending champion. Matt locks eyes with Austin as the two stare each other down and Austin just continues to slowly clap for the champion. Commentary builds up the rematch of the century at Backlash and goes back and forth debating about who has the upperhand going in now.
