MONDAY NIGHT RAW Results - August 19, 2019

Does WWEP World Heavyweight Champion Matt Charles show up to the arena tonight? Also, friction has taken precedence in The Kingdom once again and a new King of the Mountain #1 contender is crowned!

RAW Opener

The lights and fireworks finish up as commentary brings us in announcing that the main event tonight will be a King of the Mountain #1 contender's match between "The Warrior" Cody Miller and Hall of Famer Steve Steigerwald. Commentary stresses the importance of this for Cody Miller, building that if Prestige is able to snag the KOTM Championship, they can basically write their own ticket in WWEP. But before commentary can continue on much longer, RJ Stagg's music blares over the PA to a large unison of booing from the crowd. Stagg like usual comes strutting out through the curtain with his signature smug smile, not paying the crowd any attention as they yell obscenities at him. Stagg gets into the ring and doesn't waste any time cutting a scathing promo on the state of WWEP, while continuing to hype up how he is once again the #1 contender for the WWEP World Heavyweight Championship.

"Let me just talk to ya, because my name is R-J-STAGG. And day after day all I've been hearing lately from fans and critics alike, (fake crying) Stagg how can you be so mean and cruel to Stacy Bryan? How can you use her for a tag team title match at Summerslam? How can you use her to get a world heavyweight championship match at Clash of the Champions? How can you use her...OH SHUT THE HELL UP DUMMIES! I made it abundantly clear that after Summerslam, I was no longer gonna be a victim of circumstance. BUT I WAS GONNA BE A CREATOR OF CIRCUMSTANCE. I am only using my fiance the exact same way that all of you would be using her if you had her, but the fact is, you don't. See, every last one of you is just like RJ Stagg, but you're just not man enough to admit it. Ya wanna know why? Because I know for a fact that each and every one of you have called off sick, when we all know that you were 100 percent healthy. You're friends with people that you don't really want to be friends with, but you get stuff out of them. Heh and ladies lets be honest, you're only dating that three inch tenderloin because he pays your bills, when actually you're dreamin' of a big ol 13 inch right here in R-J-Stagg." - RJ Stagg

"Oh here we go. Ladies and gentlemen we apologize for the remarks from our #1 one conten.." - Michael Cole

"Shut up Michael and give this man some respect! Ha ha!" - Corey Graves

"And then, there's this dummy named "Matt Charles." Or, the "vision of prestige" as everyone is calling him these days. Well whether his title is dummy or whether his title is "the vision", there's only one title that RJ Stagg is worried about..and that's the World Heavyweight Title. Because Matt, you've been riding the gravy train with all of it's fury for the past couple weeks. But unfortunately for you, there's only one conductor of the gravy train, and that's R-J STAGG. So come Clash of Champions you better be holding onto that title tight, cause you're not RJ Stagg are ya? And you never will be. And that's not an insult, that's just a FACT OF LIFE!" - RJ Stagg

Stagg drops the microphone and goes to walk out of the ring, but the entire arena goes black which pops the crowd. Ashley Cox comes out to get face to face with her long time rival. Cox doesn't waste any time getting face to face with RJ Stagg as commentary sells how Darren Cox's plan of uniting might be coming to a quick end right now. Ashley picks up the microphone that Stagg was originally holding and stares deep into Stagg's eyes with malice and no fear.

"You can't possible be talking about me. *clears throat* I...never called off work when feeling fine. Anyone I'm friends with I love and care about. And considering I'm the only bad bitch in this organization, I DON'T NEED 13 INCHES OR YOUR 13 MILLIMETERS!!" - Ashley Cox

Stagg takes a few steps back in shock and shakes his head in disgust about what Cox is saying to him. Stagg points at her and then looks at the crowd mouthing, "This dummy doesn't know anything!" Ashley steps right back into Stagg's face with intent.

"Oh so you got nothing to say now? Did the truth cut you a little bit too deep there, huh?!" - Ashley Cox

Stagg bucks right back up to Ashley and clearly isn't taking any of this laying down.

"Oh I've got plenty to say about you dummy, but Darren wants this potential Kingdom to play nice with each other, so, Im keeping it to myself!" - RJ Stagg

"Ha ha ha! Cause you're a speechless sack of potatoes! Ain't got tenderloin to say shit!" - Ashley Cox

Stagg is starting to get a little more flustered and finally just unloads on Ashley Cox, clearly not caring at all what he says now.

"Sorry to burst your bubble sweetie, but R-J-STAGG is never speechless! I know Cody Miller has cracked your skull one too many times, but in case you forgot, I'm the best damn talker that this organization has, and you couldn't silence me if you tried! While you're out playing in the woods, I

I'm riding a gravy train to success. But don't worry kid, I'll get you a ticket to Clash of Champions since you'll probably have no match that night anyway! I might even be able to get you an autograph!" - RJ Stagg

Stagg acts like he is pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket with a pencil, sarcastically writing on his pad.

"You want one ticket or two? For your little girl friend." - RJ Stagg

Ashley Cox slaps Stagg's hands down and starts getting more angry and intense.

"You act like I'm the one who needs the tickets. Heh. I MAKE THE TICKETS! I AM THE TICKETS! Without me there would be no tickets! I don't want or need shit from you. I don't even know why we made this stupid faction. Your head and you ego is too big for anyone to deal with. Go pop your head like a zit, and learn to shut up. And I don't need a match, I am the DAMN match!" - Ashley Cox

"Ha ha ha! My ego is too big?? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! You're the one thats completely incapable of working with others! I've won Tag Team Championships with three different teams! That's three different teams! The only ones that have had your back was a group of cross-eyed, half twits that you made bow down to your every whim! Until guess what? I busted up The Empire, and kicked Marissa Funches to the curb! You just can't handle the truth, and if it's coming out of my mouth, it's most certainly TRUE and that is not an insult, that's just a fact of life!" - RJ Stagg

RJ Stagg goes to walk out of the ring once again, but Ashley doesn't let him! Ashley grabs him by the arm and turns him around again to face her eye to eye.

" I am perfectly capable of working with others. Just not you! You must be a cross eyed twit cause if I do remember, you were kissing my boots, you were following me around like a servant dog, you did everything that I told you to do. So let me just say RJ, thank you. Thank you for improving my worth and allowing me to find my true self, and congrats to Marissa Funches, she's old news, everything you spit out is bullshit and annoyance. Who said to go back to yelling at the screen, when NO ONE can understand you and wearing sunglasses INSIDE? No one! I don't give a damn if it's a insult or a "fact". The FACT IS! You'll never live up to me or be as great as I am." - Ashley Cox

RJ with a smirk turns his head away to not face Ashley, but Ashley gets back into his face once again and doesn't let him turn away, trying to do everything she can to provoke him.

"And secretly it eats you alive, Stagg. I know it, the whole damn world knows it! It eats you alive inside Stagg because you know it's true. Incase you forgot, I was your biggest down fall. When I beat you all those years ago, I broke everything you were. And you have the audacity to try to be that person again? HA! Good luck. Cause you'll never be the R-J-Staggs you use to be. And hell, even he wasn't that damn good either." - Ashley Cox

*RJ Stagg starts nodding his head* "Your damn right I did dummy! And it wasn't the proudest moment of my career but I did what I did to keep my career! I adapt to survive! If you were so damn good, you'd stop making excuses as to why you cant work with me...or anyone for that matter!! My ego has always been big but when it came to gold and the people I've won gold with, I've always stayed loyal! And you're so arrogant that a couple of my jabs pissed you off so bad that you blew up the Top 1% and the longest tag title reign in history over nothing!" - RJ Stagg

This time Ashley Cox starts to turn away, but like Ashley, Stagg gets back into her face.

"That's why Cody Miller has your number! You're way too cocky! You think you're untouchable. He casted your ass out and you've been irrelevant ever since! You think you tore a page out of the "bad guy" rule book, when I'm the damn author! Ever since you've been in this company, you've been playing catch up to what Ive accomplished! That's why you can't adapt or overcome what you have to do to survive!! Because while I'm rounding third, I know your ass is waiting for me on second to keep moving so you can cover ground I've already touched! Yeah I kissed your boots and subjugated myself to humiliation. But I would kiss them a thousand times if I had to! Because I do what I have to do TO SURVIVE AND THRIVE!" - RJ Stagg

Ashley pops right back up with fury, not wanting Stagg to get the last word in by any means.

"I'm not making excuses of why I can't work with you. If I remember correctly you were the only claiming you carried our team. So I let you try to prove your claim and guess what, we lost the titles. He didn't cast me out, I took myself out to find myself and I have came back as my true self and although I've only had one match, I have been the main topic of conversation. Whether good comments or bad, I'm in everyone's head. I'm the "what if". You're "the easily guessed". Everyone knows what you're gonna do when you do it. I leave people guessing. I'm waiting for you at main plate. You will never be as good as me. Try all you want to be your old self. One way or another I'll break you again. Can't wait for the pathetic excuse as to why you're gonna beat me and humiliate me." - Ashley Cox

"Alright, Ashley. I was wrong. I did need you a year ago. Just like we all need each other now....but I bet your ego won't let you admit that you need us! AS EQUALS. Yeah, you've got a new coat of paint and you're all well rested...but its a 100% proven fact that separated, we can't survive in this new climate. I don't dish excuses. I dish out predictions. And I'm predicting that I could be on my knees begging and you can't and won't admit that rolling it alone isn't in your best interest. Because like I said, my ego can adapt and yours cant." - RJ Stagg

"Ha ha. Must I always prove you wrong?" - Ashley Cox

"Go ahead! Prove me wrong! Either you suck it up and admit that we need each other or you prove me right. Either way I win!" - RJ Stagg

Stagg drops the microphone down and this time does end up walking out of the ring. Stagg doesn't look back as Ashley Cox stares him down from the ring and commentary builds up the friction between these two and that Darren Cox might be a fool to think these two will ever be able to coexist. Cameras fade to a commercial break.

"You Can't Silence Me!"

Cameras come back from the commercial break on RAW panning the entire crowd as commentary speculates about some "sort of commotion" going on the other side of ringside in the crowd. Cameras abruptly focus on a raging World Heavyweight Champion Matt Charles punching a couple security guards in the front row and ripping away from their clutches! Matt jumps the barricade and storms at the ring announcer Mike Rome. Rome's eyes widen and he trembles in fear trying to find an exit, but Charles is too quick and he connects with a brutal clothesline!

"Oh my god!!! What is this man doing?? Somebody come down and stop him right now!" - Michael Cole

"He's not even supposed to be here right now!! He's been banned from the arena tonight! Does this guy have no shame?" - Corey Graves

Matt starts wailing kick after kick on the defenseless Rome as commentary hypes the chaos happening and pleads with more security to come down and restrain this mad man! Matt leaves Rome laying completely motionless at ringside before snatching the microphone away.

"Stacy you can't silence me! I will not be ignored!! I told you that I would find out who the little bitch was that attacked me from behind, and dammit I'm gonna find out tonight!! Get your ass out here and face me like a man you stupid son of a bitch!! Come on!! This isn't over!" - Matt Charles

Matt paces back and forth with a psychotic look on his face breathing heavily and looking around the ring at any other security guard who wants to hop into the ring.

"So you think you're real big and bad attacking me from behind, huh? Well that's the only shot you're gonna get. Because ya see this...ya see this belt right here..." - Matt Charles

Matt holds the world heavyweight championship belt towards the camera as he shakes with emotion.

"All you had to do was ask. All you had to do was ask for a damn title shot, and I would give it to ya. Now, I'm gonna end your punk ass career for good! Come on, show your face! I'm not going anywhere...NOT GOING ANYWHERE until the sum bitch who did this comes out here and looks me eye to eye!" - Matt Charles

More security rushes down to the ring at the request of Stacy Bryan on the ramp.

"Ha ha. Oh boy. Here we go. Oh boy sending the calvary in, huh? Ha ha that's great. Send them all in, I'll take out every single one of them. I'm gonna find out who did this!!" - Matt Charles

Security gets into the ring, but once again Matt starts clearing them all out of the ring with some of the stiffest shots we have ever seen! Bryan screams for them to "get him out of here", but security seems to initially be unsuccessful with the world champion taking them all out. The lights in the arena suddenly go out and after a few seconds come back on obviously distracting the world champion long enough for security to finally restrain Matt with a pair of handcuffs. Matt tries breaking free, kicking and screaming to get his point across, but it is to no avail. Security carries Matt passed Stacy Bryan as Bryan looks on with a disgusted look on her face.

"Somebody get him out of here! The guy has already caused enough trouble." - Michael Cole

"And you're trying to tell me this is our world heavyweight champion? Give me a break!!" - Corey Graves

But before Matt is completely carried away, he spits in Stacy's face!!

"Oh my god! He didn't just do what I think he did, did he" - Michael Cole

"He did! He just spit in the face of Stacy Bryan!" - Renee Young

Stacy clinches her fists in anger and screams as cameras fade to a commercial break and Matt's voice is heard echoing through the curtain,

"IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME, FIGHT ME! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!! I'M COMIN FOR YOU, BITCH!!!" - Matt Charles

WWEP King of the Mountain #1 Contender's Match; Cody Miller vs Steve Steigerwald

This match is explosive right from the start, with Cody Miller looking like a rabid driven animal ready to just pounce on his prey and hungry for championship gold. Tony Murr and Benjamin Conners are outside of the ring cheering on and pumping up their Prestige brother, but Miller doesn't seem to pay any attention at all to them, focused on doing everything he can to completely dismantle the hall of famer. Miller unloads shot after shot on the veteran, not wasting any time to even let him get back up to his feet. However Miller's momentum is halted slightly once Steigerwald is able to connect with a knee to the face and a couple suplexes of his own. But he is unable to cover Miller after exhausting himself with his own comeback.

"Get up Steve! You got this! Just cover the man!" - Michael Cole

"Steve Steigerwald has a chance right here to become the new number one contender!" - Renee Young

"Dammit pin him Steve! Pin him!" - Corey Graves

The Bard in full horse mask and all runs down to the ring to try and will his father Steve Steigerwald up, but out of nowhere the WWEP World Tag Team Champions Benjamin Conners and Tony Murr come barreling out of nowhere to steam roll through The Bard with a double clothesline! The two start kicking at the Bard, which ilicits a negative reaction from the crowd. Conners and Murr smile at each other and do the "too sweet" hand gesture to each other. The action outside of the ring redirects Steve's attention long enough for Cody Miller to wheel himself up to his feet with the ropes. Miller looks at the beaten down Steigerwald in the center of the ring and baseball slides into the previously injured knees of the hall of famer! BAM!

"Good god right in the injured knees of Steve Steigerwald! These guys will stop at nothing." - Michael Cole

"Yeah they will stop at nothing to break every damn rule in the book!" - Corey Graves

Cody limps back up to his feet and looks at the crowd with a sick smile on his face. Murr and Conners outside the ring hype him up even more as commentary builds up how Miller has completely decimated Steigerwald tonight and is solely focused on becoming the King of the Mountain Champion. Miller hops onto the top rope and comes down with a crushing and vicious Heaven's Sword (stomp) onto the head of Steve Steigerwald!! Miller covers him for the pinfall and the win. Prestige (without Matt) all celebrate in the center of the ring with Miller screaming into the camera, "ADAM I'M COMIN FOR YOU! YOU CAN'T STOP IT!"

Cameras cut backstage to show the current King of the Mountain Champion Adam Stewart standing in the locker room watching the television screen with a smile on his face. Stewart nods his head back and forth in arrogance as commentary builds up how physically intense their match at Clash of the Champions is gonna be and the reprecussions if Cody Miller is able to bring the King of the Mountain Championship to Prestige. The show comes to a close as Prestige are doing the "too sweet hand signal" in the center of the ring and screaming into the camera in unison TOOOOOOO SWEEEET!!!
